RIDING TIPS:

When ever you are planning for a long ride, make sure that your bike is in TOP condition and your body is fit for the ride.

Eating light food during rides are the best thing one can do, but make sure that you take good amount of vitamins, protien in you meals. Once can have Dal-Rice or eggs as they are not only light but are served fresh. Drink good amount of water through-out your ride will help you to stay away from dehydration.

Start early and reach safely that should be your motto. Avoid riding after dark, as you may never know when you may have a flat tyre or some mechanical emergencies and in night you will take more time to fix it than in day. Also during night times vehicles either will be running on NO or Very high lights and this may lead to a mishap.

Make sure that you slow down if you see a village or town approaching as there may be some unwanted speed breakers with absolutely no neon markings on it or kids running around the road as play ground.

Make sure all your luggage is tightly hooked up. Tie you luggage with bungee ropes rather than using nylon or cotton ropes as bungee ropes gives good holding capacity and can be stretched to a limt.

Make sure you wear proper riding gear while riding,

# Full faced Helmets

(In case of a fall, most of the riders fall face down, hence chin area takes the maximum impact. A full-faced helmet is much safer. Carry an extra visor/face shield as they develop scratches easily rendering a poor vision.)

# Riding gloves

# Riding Jacket (you can use thick jackets too, but make sure you have elbow, shoulder guards in it)

# Knee guards

# and a good pair of boots which are atleast till you ankle lenght

Carry your bike registation papers/smart cards, insurance and PUC.

Driving license is must and should be handy with you.

Keep a xerox copy of all the above documents with you in your bag or in tool box.
